Winner of the International Making Competition at the Violin Society of America in Cleveland.
The elegant style of Vuillaume’s instruments has inspired Jay Haide to create a new model in his honour. Using selected Bosnian Maple and European Spruce, the cello is based on Vuillaume’s Stradivari pattern. The varnish imitates his unique lustrous golden hue. The tone is powerful, easily producing colours from the entire spectrum.
