Currently based in The Netherlands, L.H.Houniet is a master violinmaker who learnt his craft at the venerable Violinmaking College in Mittenwald. After graduating in 1968 he spent some three months with Vladimir Pilar in the Czech Republic. Thereupon he worked for three years with the renowned firm of J. and A. Beare in London.
